Clarified butter is without the lactose and other milk solids. It is traditionally prepared by gently heating butter until it becomes a clear golden liquid. The lactose and other milk solids coagulate and are meticulously removed. This process also evaporates most of the natural water content, making the clarified butter light, pure and resistant to spoilage.

Coconut Semolina Ghee Ladoo

  • 1 tbsp Q.B.B Ghee + 2 tbsp for roasting semolina
  • 1 cup semolina

  4. Form a lime-sized ball while it's still warm. This helps to hold it together.
  5. If its too dry and or not holding together, gradually add 2 tablespoons milk or more, until it is moist enough to hold its shape. Roll the ladoos over crushed pistachio and desiccated coconut to coat. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
